They say their quiet residential street has become a haven for street racers.
Residents say Friday and weekend nights, a nearby Baychester intersection becomes a playground for cars with revved up engines.
One neighbor says just recently, drivers blocked off access to the street to allow cars to take turns drifting.
Residents also claim there have been a number of parked cars that have been damaged.
Community leader Andy King is pushing for the city to take action.
He says he reached out to the city’s Department of Transportation and City Hall to install deterrents at the intersection.
Residents say they need a community disturbance curb before someone is seriously injured.
The commanding officer of Police Service Area 8 (PSA 8) is aware of the condition and is working to address the issue.
