Owners of a bar on Arthur Avenue are hoping that last-minute shoppers will stop in for a beer and buy some Bronx-themed items as gifts.
Paul Ramirez, co-owner of The Bronx Beer Hall, says people have been flooding into the place trying to get gifts in time for the holiday. He says that's why he and his partners made sure to stock up.
"It's tough living in a busy city buying gifts," said Ramirez. "It's easy having a drink at a bar, so why not have some options while you're here for a little shopping?"
Some popular Bronx-themed items include car magnets, beer koozies, hot sauce and the most popular..."Bronx-opoly."
Shoppers say the merchandise is great, especially since it's stuff you can't get anywhere else.
The Beer Hall will be open Christmas Eve for anyone hoping to still grab a last-minute gift and a holiday drink.
