Icy conditions and cold will continue into Monday. The good news is, though it will still be below freezing Monday afternoon, temperatures will improve near the freezing point of 32 degrees. Skies will become cloudy Monday night, setting up an approaching weak system that will bring some snow showers or flurries to the region that could lead to a dusting of snow fall. This system will clear after the noon hour then, the rest of the afternoon will be sunny and dry with temperatures above freezing.
The holidays will be a mix of sunshine and clouds with temperatures in the mid-30s. Temperatures will slowly rise into the 40s for the weekend with a stray shower chance.
