Clouds and rain showers move in tonight ahead of warmer weather for Saturday. Rain moves out by daybreak with lows near 46 degrees. Temperatures will warm up quickly on Saturday, with highs in the upper 70s for much of Nassau County and northwestern Suffolk, and highs in the 50s and 60s along the South Shore and East End. It will be breezy with west winds. Temperatures fall quickly in the evening, plus another round of showers for Saturday night. Sunday will be much cooler and mostly cloudy. Another batch of rain will arrive at night into Monday. Showers continue on and off. A chance for some heavier rain by the evening. Drier and cooler weather follows for the middle of next week. Saturday morning partial solar eclipse: sunrise is at 6:40 a.m. with the partial eclipse peaking at 6:43 a.m. The eclipse will be over by 7 a.m.
FORECAST: OVERNIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Rain showers likely, ending by morning. Lows near 46 degrees. SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and very warm. Highs near 75 degrees. Mostly cloudy and a chance for showers at night. Lows near 44.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. Rain showers likely in the morning and then again late in the day. Rain may be heavy at times. Highs near 62. Lows near 42.
TUESDAY: Cooler and overcast. Highs near 54. Lows near 32. WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and seasonable. Highs near 50. Lows near 38. THURSDAY: Partly sunny and chance for showers. Milder with highs near 59. Lows near 45.
