A Bronx youth empowerment program kicked off celebrations at the Richard R. Green Middle School Campus Thursday- the first day of Black History Month.
Educators, principals and support staff from the elementary, middle school and high school were recognized for their dedication to what they call "a village" at New York City Public Schools.
