BOE: Brooklyn leads early voting poll numbers

Early Voting Day 1 ended with 40,289 people voting and a cumulative total of 77,033 on Day 2.

The 2024 general election is now eight days away, and the Board of Elections numbers shows Brooklyn is leading when it comes to showing up at the polls.
Early Voting Day 1 ended with 40,289 people voting and a cumulative total of 77,033 on Day 2.
Brooklyn residents showed up at P.S 68 on Monday evening to get their votes in before Nov. 5.
News 12 also spoke with the BOE executive director Michael J Ryan about the higher numbers.
“Brooklyn also has the highest number of voters I think proportionally they are about where they were for years ago, but everything was up this year,” Ryan said.
