Flags lined the street as revelers eagerly watched the parade from the sidewalk as it traveled from Menahan Street to Jefferson Street with a party atmosphere.
There were cheers, dancing and a plenty of music.

With New York City being home to hundreds of thousands of Puerto Ricans, those at the parade said they are thankful to be able to celebrate their culture together.
