The New York Botanical Gardens is celebrating a new Hawaiian-themed exhibit.
Georgia O'Keefe: Visions of Hawaii includes paintings which were influenced by the iconic artist's trip to Hawaii in 1939.
"She traveled to four islands and completed 20 paintings," Associate Vice President of Exhibitions Karen Daubmann says.
O'Keefe spent nine weeks in Hawaii studying flowers like the hibiscus, which inspired many paintings in her collection.
The conservatory has been transformed into the lush and exotic Hawaiian landscape that O'Keefe saw on her journey.
The exhibit officially opens Saturday.
