Bronx Ball celebrates latest Walk of Fame inductees, Yankees broadcast legend John Sterling

Organizers say this year's event was meant to be bigger and better than before.

The newest members of the Bronx Walk of Fame were celebrated Saturday during the Bronx Ball at the Whitestone Multiplex Cinema.
Also honored was retired Yankees play-by-play announcer John Sterling with a Key to the Borough.
This year’s Walk of Fame inductees included:
  • Acclaimed actress Andrea Navedo, who starred as Xiomara "Xo" Villaneuva in the CW comedy-drama series, Jane the Virgin.
  • Antwan "Amadeus" Thompson, a multiplatinum-selling music producer.
  • Ozzie Virgil, Sr., the nation's first MLB player from the Dominican Republic.
  • Paloma Izquierdo-Hernandez, chief operating officer of the Urban Health Plan.
