Bronx bus stop move has commuters confused

The MTA says that they’ve moved the Bx5, Bx6, and Bx6 Select Bus Service stops due to the reconstruction at Del Valle Square, which is being done to make it more accessible.

A bus stop change in Hunts Point has some commuters searching for answers as they find ways to deal with the move.  
The BX6 bus station located at the Hunts Point Station stop has been passing some Bronx residents after moving one block over. It’s now located between Simpson and Southern Boulevard on East 163rd St.  
The MTA says that they’ve moved the Bx5, Bx6, and Bx6 Select Bus stops due to the reconstruction at Del Valle Square, which is being done to make it more accessible.  
The city’s Department of Design and Construction told News 12 in a statement that there are signs in place directing riders to the new stops and the fare machines have also been relocated. They expect these temporary relocations to be in place until the project is completed around November of next year.
