Bronx students braved the heat on Thursday as New York City Catholic school students returned to the classroom.

Bronx students braved the heat on Thursday as New York City Catholic school students returned to the classroom.  
Students at the Saint Philip Neri school in Bedford Park experienced the new Catholic Education and Family Center this year, part of a program from the Archdiocese of New York. The center will provide activities and services for Catholic students and their families.  
The superintendent of schools for the Archdiocese of New York stopped by to greet students and their parents at dismissal.
