Bronx Chamber of Commerce honors outstanding leaders, institution at annual gala

The event, held at the waterfront venue Marina del Rey, celebrates excellence in business, government and development.
"Illuminating Success: Shining a Light on Bronx Business" brought together over 600 Bronx businesses, leaders and community champions.
The chamber of commerce says this year's celebration honored outstanding leaders and institutions whose vision, service and achievements shaped the borough's economic, civic and cultural success.
Awards were presented in four categories: champion in government, business of the year, developer of the year and the Joseph P. Kelleher Award of Excellence.
The four recipients honored were Janet A. Peguero, Rella Fogliano, Ram P. Gupta and GVC Transportation.
