Bronx Councilman Andy King appeared before an ethics committee Friday after being accused of sexual misconduct.

An employee of King has come forward to accuse him of sexual harassment, several published reports say.

The accusations against Councilman King were presented to the Standards and Ethics Committee Friday afternoon. The committee voted to keep the details of the investigation sealed.

The meeting was expected to involve a discussion under the 10-80 rule, which deals with disorderly behavior. A portion of the meeting was also private to protect the confidentiality of King's accuser.

In 2015, there was also a notice of claim against the councilman from a former employee who accused him of sexual harassment and unlawful termination.

Neither the councilman or the committee commented on the matter.
