Bronx residents got a chance to wipe their slates clean Saturday by resolving open warrants for minor offenses.
The Another Chance event, held by Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark at the Mount Hope Community Center, allowed people to clear any open quality of life warrants.
The forgiveness program includes offenses like public alcohol consumption, disorderly conduct, unlawful marijuana possession, trespassing and loitering.
Officials say in addition to possible jail time, having open warrants can prevent people from getting a job, applying for public housing or becoming a citizen.
