Cash for guns is what the office of Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark is offering people who are willing to give up their firearms at a buyback event being held this weekend.
When the guns are turned over at either of the two buyback programs being held at Bronx area churches, the individuals will receive a $200 bank card.

Clark says those who have illegal weapons shouldn't be worried about giving in the firearm, as there is a no questions asked policy at the buyback programs.
"The Bronx has had five in the past, and in that time over 2,600 guns were turned over," says Clark.
The buyback events will be held tomorrow from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Fellowship Tabernacle Church of God in Christ and at the Evangelical Garifuna Church.
Active or retired law enforcement officers and licensed gun dealers are not eligible for the program.
