A Bronx health center on Tuesday held its annual coat drive for patients in need.
The Morris Heights Health Center gave away 60 coats at the drive held at its senior housing building.
The collection of the coats began last month. In total, about 150 coats were collected by staff members to be distributed among the center's seven Bronx locations.
Scarves, hats and gloves were also given away.
On Jan. 29, the center plans to hold an even larger coat drive at the Davidson Community Center, during which it expects to distribute about 300 coats.
