The Bronx Historical Society is transporting kids back to the 1700s this week as part of its Junior Bronx Historians Summer Academy.
For the rest of the week, middle schoolers are being taken to Revolutionary War times, learning the role the Bronx played in history.
Their walk through time will start at the Valentine Varian House, which housed British and American troops at different points during the war.
The Historical Society says the goal is to show kids how the Bronx looked back then.
