Bronx Bound Books, Boogie Down Books, and Bronx is Reading joined forces to promote an open mic, book and swag giveaways, virtual author appearances and more.
All three organizations are designed to offer educational opportunities for underserved communities.
To promote this reading, one of the opportunities Boogie Down Books is doing is selecting books for children based on their interests.
Bronx Bound Books and Bronx is Reading are hosting virtual readings and an open mic at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
