Bronx Muslims celebrated Eid al-Fitr Monday, which marks the end of Ramadan.
The annual observance of Ramadan is considered one of the five pillars of Islam, and culminates a month of fasting every day from dawn until sunset.
Dozens of Muslim Bronx residents visited the Bronx Islamic Cultural Center on East Tremont Avenue for the celebration, which had plenty of food to go around.
The holiday of Eid al-Adha is the next Muslim holiday. It will begin on Oct. 4.
