An LGBT group in the Bronx dedicated to helping LGBT elders, celebrated Christmas today alongside members of the community.
Organizers at SAGE NYC say LGBT elders are three to four more times less likely to have children and two times as likely to live alone or just be single.
Those who gathered at the center on Christmas say a simple phone call on a lonely holiday can save a person's life.
