A Bronx man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty for illegally carrying firearms, police say.

A Bronx man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty for illegally carrying firearms, police say.
Peter Rivera, 67, lived in Norwood which is where investigators found six assault style rifles along with other unfinished guns, and tools for assembling more firearms.
Police say he purchased the parts for the weapons online. The suspect was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to criminal possession of a weapon.
