Ana Vega is calling on police to investigate her 17-year-old son’s homicide case six months after his death.

Sincere Campbell was fatally shot near his home on Sept. 21, 2024.

The shooting was caught on surveillance cameras at a deli on Evergreen and Westchester avenues.

Vega tells News 12 she doesn’t understand how her son’s killers were seen on video, but still have not been caught six months after the incident.

Sincere Campbell was about to graduate high school at the time of his death.

His mother says he had hopes of being an engineer and was loved deeply by his friends, family, and girlfriend.

His loved ones and the lead detective on the case say Campbell was a good kid, and he was not involved in any violence or street gangs.

While the NYPD says the investigation is ongoing, Vega says it's not enough for her to move forward.

She says police have not replied to her in weeks, and the lack of communication is frustrating.

Campbell was Vega’s only child.

She says she hopes one day she gets the answers she deserves, but until then, she won’t rest.
