Bronx schools to receive $200,000 to upgrade STEM education

Assemblymember Landon Dais secured $1 million and Gov. Kathy Hochul matched the investment for a total $2 million overall.

Ten schools in District 9 of the Bronx are getting $200,000 each to boost STEM education, state officials announced.
Assemblymember Landon Dais secured $1 million and Gov. Kathy Hochul matched the investment for a total $2 million overall.
The money will go toward building labs, updating equipment and developing programs in science, technology, engineering and math.
