A horticultural program in Riverdale is offering wellness and relaxation for area seniors.

A scenic, organic garden is located on the rooftop of the Bronx Senior Services where horticultural therapist Barbara Denson use a combination of plants and aromatherapy to promote healing.

Members say not only are there therapeutic benefits to the program, but it also gives them more reasons to be outdoors.

The items grown are all-natural and end up on the dinner table in the center's kitchen.
