The MTA gave Bronx straphangers the chance to raise their voices against a rise in fares.

The agency held its first public meeting in the borough tonight. Attendees were able to speak for up to three minutes about several proposals, including a hike in the price of single bus and subway rides, and a jump in the cost of an unlimited pass.

The meeting began at 5 p.m. at Hostos Community College.
