News 12 got an inside look at a bodega-themed escape room engineered and designed by students in the Bronx.

University Heights High School students utilized a variety of technical systems to mimic neighborhood corner stores in the Bronx, even crafting a robot bodega cat.

The students collaborated with NYC FIRST, the Andrew Freedman Home and The Bronx Escape to make the unique project come to life.
