Some students of the South Bronx Community Charter School are preparing for their second annual youth-led march.
Black Lives Matter announced it will be holding the Future of the City Youth March this weekend. It is organized by youth coalitions at the community charter school and across the city.
Students on Monday prepared signs, practiced speeches and sent outreach emails.
Organizers say the goal of the walk is to remember those lost to police brutality and to show students that they can change the world around them.
The march begins at noon Saturday on Malcolm X Boulevard in Harlem.
