A set of triplets returned to Montefiore Medical Center's neonatal intensive care unit Tuesday to catch up with the staff and put some new parents at ease.
The visit is a tradition the Von Kessels started more than a decade ago.
The triplets visit with staff and bring hope to parents with children in the neonatal ICU.
For Robin and Chris Von Kessel, their time at the ICU seemed eternal after their triplets - Chris, Jessica and Steven - were born 10 weeks early.
The triplets will be leaving home this fall for college. Jessica will be attending Marist College and the boys are both off to Villanova University where they will be roommates.
