A fiery crash in New Jersey has claimed the life of a woman from the Bronx.

Police say Royena Berterand was involved in a multi-car crash on Route 440 in Edison Friday morning.

Some of the cars burst into flames and traffic was backed up for four hours during the morning rush hour, according to officials.

Berterand and one other person were killed in the crash.

Police say several others were injured.
