Bronx woman pleads guilty to fatal 2022 drunk driving crash on Saw Mill River Parkway

Police say a 22-year-old passenger in another car was struck and killed when he got out to help Eleni Castillo, who had lost control of her car.

A Bronx woman pleaded guilty Thursday in a 2022 deadly drunk driving crash that happened on the Saw Mill River Parkway.
Eleni Castillo admitted to vehicular manslaughter in Westchester County Court.
Police say 30-year-old Castillo lost control of her car near Mclean Avenue, struck the center median and came to a stop.
A passenger in another car, 22-year-old Adrianel Leconte, of Manhattan, got out to help. He was killed when another car smashed into Castillo's car, hitting him in the process.
Castillos will be sentenced in July .
She has been promised a sentence of five years probation.
