A Bronx non-profit will be providing healthy produce and nutrition tips to South Bronx residents.
Bronx Works is opening its summer farm stand outside of the Carolyn McLaughlin Community Center on Grand Concourse from 10 a.m. Thursday until 4 p.m. According to a report from Hunger Free America in 2020, one in five residents in the Bronx is experiencing food insecurity.
EBT and SNAP along with Farmer's Market Nutrition Program coupons will be accepted.
