The Bronx Zoo is enforcing a new mask policy that’s consistent with recent New York state and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance.
The zoo says masks will be required indoors for all guests over the age of 2, regardless of their vaccination status.
The policy will be enforced on Friday, Aug. 6.
The zoo says masks will be required outdoors for unvaccinated guests over the age of 2 in areas where social distancing can’t be maintained.
The zoo says face coverings remain optional for vaccinated guests in outdoor areas.
