Authorities are searching for the man they say is responsible for a knifepoint robbery spree targeting businesses in Brooklyn.

Police say the man stuck to a plan - demanding money before going behind the counter and holding an employee at knifepoint. The incidents happened in mid-April. The largest amount stolen was around $6,000.

According to authorities, the man first struck a smoke shop in Williamsburg. He walked into 325 Graham Ave. around 11:15 p.m. on April 18 and asked a 27-year-old employee for coins in exchange for cash.

Police say he then exited the shop, returned with a knife and demanded money, before making his way behind the counter, grabbing approximately $900.

A week later, he got away with $6,000 after robbing Apple Gourmet Farm, a supermarket in Boerum Hill.

The NYPD provided footage of the man taken inside 404 Atlantic Ave. The man is seen dressed in black clothing, wearing glasses, a black face mask and white shoes.

The following morning, authorities say he stole around $380 from a deli in Park Slope, where he threatened a 61-year-old employee with a knife.

Authorities say no one was hurt during the robberies.

Anyone with information is urged to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
