Elected officials and street safety advocates are pushing for safer crosswalks for students across New York City. 
A new bill will establish scramble crosswalks at schools, which will stop all traffic while people are crossing the street in any direction.  
Brooklyn Assemblyman Brian Cunningham says that too many students have been killed or suffered injuries due to dangerous drivers. He is calling on the state assembly to pass the bill to before any more children are hurt or killed.
