Mayor Eric Adams has responded to the beating of an 11-year-old girl in Allerton that has sparked outrage.

News 12 first reported on the exclusive story of about the girl who was attacked while walking her dog.

The incident was caught on camera.

Mayor Eric Adams called the attack “absolutely horrifying” in a post on X, saying his team is in touch with the family and that the NYPD is actively investigating.

The girl’s parents told News 12 all they want is for everyone involved to be held accountable. They also expressed gratitude to the bystanders who stopped to call 911 and intervene during the attack, urging them to come forward.
