Bubbles and bottles: How Brooklyn Seltzer Boys packages its seltzer
The last seltzer-filling station in Brooklyn has managed to stay afloat for generations, but the secret isn't just the bubbles - it's the bottles.
Brooklyn Seltzer Boys reuses old, empty bottles and each one is different from the next.
Those bottles are put on a rolling belt, where they are filled.
"We literally have to touch every single bottle with our own two hands," says Alex Gomberg. "Somebody's fixing the bottle, someone's filling the bottle and somebody's hand-delivering it."
