Business owners are speaking out against city hall after film crews recently took over parking spaces near their shops.
Shop owners along Willow Avenue and E. 135th Street say film crews aren't solely to blame and that city hall needs to do a better job regulating their activity.
Owners of the business say film crews have been taking up all of the parking spaces for both clients and business owners during peak business hours.
Rosenzweig Lumber Warehouse manager Dan Seplow says the city needs to do a better job of how they distribute film crew permits.
Seplow says the city must also keep businesses in mind when film crews enter an area to begin work.
"I want the city to have a little consideration for the local business that's here every day and pays thousands of dollars in taxes to help support the city," Seplow says.
For now, Seplow says he hopes film crews will remain understanding of the area businesses.
