A group of Bronx parents and students is rallying to save its school from the chopping block.

P.S. 369, also known as Young Leaders Elementary School, is at risk of closing; thus prompting students to send more than 200 letters to Department of Education Chancellor Dennis Walcott. The Mott Haven school has performed poorly in the DOE's annual progress report, a trend parents say should be blamed on the system. Some parents say the school needs more resources since 80 percent of the student body comes from non-English-speaking households.

Parents say they plan on holding another rally before the final list of closures is released this winter.
