A car crashed Sunday morning in Mott Haven and overturned in a busy intersection.

Witnesses say it happened at E. 138th Street and Brown Place just after 11 a.m.

In surveillance video obtain by News 12, a black car is seen traveling at a high rate of speed before jumping the sidewalk and striking a white van parked at the corner. Then, the black car flips onto its driver side.

The FDNY says one person was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

Details surrounding the crash were not immediately released by authorities.
