Carroll's Kitchen Long Island is delivering 15,000 meals across Long Island for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The hot meals are going to the homes of local veterans, homebound seniors and families in need.
Organizer Ryan Carroll, of Carroll's Kitchen Long Island, started the holiday meal drive as a way to help his late grandmother.
Carroll says, "We started it to bring meals to her and from there it grew into helping hundreds of thousands of seniors and veterans."
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the organization has delivered meals to over 800,000 people across Long Island.
