Local businesses, mental health and financial organizations teamed up for The Catalyst Experience on Sunday in Brooklyn.

Over 500 youth attendees attended the financial empowerment summit, which aimed to bring financial literacy to neighborhoods and youth that may be disadvantaged.

The summit included a lineup of panelists from financial institutions, real estate agencies and insurance companies to teach how to build wealth and spend money responsibly.

The day was completed with music, food, contests, and cash prizes. The summit will wrap up Sunday with a virtual performance and party.
