Catholics virtually celebrate Palm Sunday to keep social distancing
Catholics in the city are virtually celebrating Palm Sunday in order to keep social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic.
This is one of the most important weeks for Catholics, as they observe several holidays leading up to Easter.
Cardinal Timothy Dolan is celebrating a virtual Mass from St. Patrick's Cathedral, which will also air on TV. The Archdiocese of Brooklyn is also celebrating Mass throughout the day on air and online.
