Police are searching for a suspect who is seen in video robbing a Brooklyn fried chicken restaurant at knifepoint.
The incident happened on July 18 around 7 p.m., according to police.
They say it happened inside Gyro King Crown Fried Chicken at 403 Crescent St.
Police say the suspect walked behind the counter, grabbed a 25-year-old male employee and displayed a knife before demanding money from the cash register.
The employee opened the register, and the suspect took nearly $150.
Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot eastbound on Hill Street.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing eyeglasses and was last seen wearing blue baseball cap, a light blue shirt, black shorts and white sneakers.
