Police are searching for the man responsible for a violent attack caught on camera in Bushwick.

It happened Tuesday around 2 p.m. in front of 841 Knickerbocker Ave. near the corner of Schafer Street.

Investigators say the 40-year-old victim got into an argument with a man who proceeded to pull out a knife and stab him in the abdomen before taking off running, headed northbound on Knickerbocker Avenue.

Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows the man lunge towards him from a staircase and stab him.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition, but police are still searching for his attacker.
