A man is facing a slew of charges after assaulting a police officer in the Bronx.

A man is facing a slew of charges after assaulting a police officer in the Bronx.
The NYPD tweeted out video of the incident that happened Tuesday around 5 p.m. near West 183rd Street and Davidson Avenue.
Police say the suspect, Nelson Jimenez, was seen wearing a medical mask when he walked up behind the officer. He then is seen sucker punching him in the face.
Police say he was told to back up while the officers arrested another man for an unrelated robbery.
The officer then chased Jimenez into a bodega and when he tried to arrest him he allegedly kicked the officer.
News 12 is told 25-year-old Brandee Isom was also arrested for not following officers' orders and hitting one of them in the jaw.
