FORECAST:
Temperatures tonight will get a little colder, partly due to the clearing sky. The geomagnetic storm that brought the aurora to the northern U.S. last night is much weaker and will not be visible tonight, even though our sky may end up clearing more.
Low temperatures will drop into the 30s, with many areas waking up to near freezing conditions.
Friday will start off sunny and end up cloudy in the afternoon again. The winds will pick up about 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
The weekend weather starts off nicely but rain will move in for Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
Early next week the winds and cooler temperatures settle right back in.
