Thousands of parents found out today whether their kids have been accepted to free preschool.
More than 20,000 seats are being filled in the city's new full-day pre-K programs, an initiative started earlier this year by Mayor Bill de Blasio. Parents who receive an offer to a public school pre-K program have until June 20 to register with the school.
Additional full-day public school seats will be announced in the coming weeks.
