Hundreds of spots in New York City are now offering a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
All city-run vaccine clinics are giving out booster shots of Pfizer’s vaccine following a recommendation from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration.
New Yorkers can also walk right into CVS or other available pharmacies if they are eligible.
Eligible New Yorkers must be 65 or older or anyone 18 and older with an underlying medical condition.
Health officials say they are still looking at data and working with Moderna and Johnson & Johnson on boosters for their vaccines.
Those eligible for the Pfizer booster can walk up to any city-run vaccine site or sign up online and make an appointment in advance.
