A damp Wednesday will give way to a drier and cool overnight.
Thursday will be beautiful. It will be warm sunny, and dry. Sun continues into Friday, and it will be a touch cooler but still comfortable with highs in the mid-70s for Friday and into the weekend. Temperatures in the 70s will prevail into next week as well.
Next rain chance comes for late Sunday into early parts of Monday. As of right now, it looks like some showers. The majority of the weekend looks OK, but keep checking back in. Saturday should feature plenty of sun and some clouds, with highs in the middle and upper 70s for both weekend days.
There are 12 days until astronomical fall (the fall equinox). Beyond that, under two months until we fall back on Nov. 2. Today is the peak of hurricane season (statistically), and we are seeing no activity in the tropics right now. Hurricane season continues through Nov. 30, and we will continue to monitor any storms that could impact us here in our borough. But for now, smooth sailing.
