Close to Home: Intrepid Museum
The Intrepid Museum, located along the Hudson River in Manhattan, is back open for visitors.
The former aircraft carrier that served in World War II, the Cold War and the Vietnam War, was shut down in March due to the pandemic.
Social distancing and masks are required on the ship, and buying timed tickets in advance is encouraged.
The Intrepid showcases military fighter jets and aircraft, as well as exhibits on the ship's history.
It is open Wednesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine.
